Creative Crip Interview

It was such a pleasure to discuss the creative industries with writer, speaker, appearance advocate (and in my opinion a divine fashionista 💃) Carly Findlay in conversation with Todd Winther from DSC. I get to do many interesting things in my work, and here I have the opportunity to discuss the challenges and opportunities that forge great creative careers.

Little Stories is a series of interviews supported by University of Sunshine Coast's DisInterest Group.

So long since I posted...my bad! I've thought I might try to get this blog more active this year. Let's see how I go, time slips by, doesn't it?

I'll kick off with a photo from todays launch of Moreton Bay's inaugural Pridefest set for June 10th, 2023. Here I am with some of my work colleagues, and here is a photo taken by a drone of all those attending the launch.

This all fits into the research I'm currently working on where I want to explore how community events such as these can make people who identify LGBTQIA+ along with a disability might come to feel more visible in their own community. More on this to come.
